Hello! My name is Melissa — raised in Vermont, and now raising my own son here in the place that will always be home.
For years, every time my son’s birthday rolled around, I found myself searching for something fun and unique. But no matter where we went, party spaces were crowded, chaotic, and never truly private. Even “private rooms” were still surrounded by noise and strangers. It made parties feel less personal and a lot harder to enjoy — especially when you’re trying to keep track of excited kids.
Then, during a vacation in August, my son and I tried a splatter paint room. We had the best time… but it only lasted 20 rushed minutes because other groups were waiting. That’s when the idea struck:
What if this experience didn’t have to be shared? What if it could come directly to families — privately, without rushing or chaos?
That spark became 802 Drip: Vermont’s Mobile Splatter Paint Party.
A way to give families, friends, and adults a private, pressure-free space to laugh, be creative, and make unforgettable memories. It’s not just about paint — it’s about connection, joy, and the freedom to have fun your way.
Around the same time, another idea was growing in me — this one much more personal. I’ve always loved expressing myself through my hair, but constant coloring and heat styling left my hair dry and damaged. I wanted a safe, fun, creative way to switch up my style without hurting my hair. I’ve always loved feather extensions, and one day I thought:

That idea became Feather Me Crazy — offering quality feather extensions, bead-in color highlights, and hair jewelry that lets kids and adults express themselves without damage or commitment. It’s a playful, colorful way to feel confident, creative, and unique.
Today, both of my businesses come from the same place:
A love for creativity.
A desire for more personal, meaningful experiences.

At 802 Drip, we believe fun should be colorful, creative, and completely stress-free. We’re a Vermont-based mobile splatter paint party that brings the entire experience right to you—your home, yard, garage, community center, gym, or event space. Our private blacklight tents create a glowing, neon art zone where your group can paint, dance, laugh, and have fun your way with no lines, no pressure, and no strangers watching.

Ready to schedule your party?
Step 1: Pick Your Party Package
Choose the size and style of party that works best for you — from a cozy date night to a full-on large tent event.
Step 2: Customize With Add-Ons & Upgrades
Make your party your own! Add extra paint colors, canvases, glow supplies, paint wars, or extra time to keep the fun going.
Step 3: Fill Out the Party Request Form
This is the first step to booking your party. Once we get your form, you’ll receive an email to confirm your date. In that email, you will get your invoice and rental agreement and an information sheet to get to all your guests with a QR code to fill out a waiver.
Step 4: Party Day Setup
We will arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour before your party, depending on your location and the size of your setup. Once everything is fully set up, we’ll walk the host through all the important information and make sure you feel comfortable and ready to go. After that, we’ll leave so you and your guests can enjoy your private paint experience.
Step 5: Let the Paint Fly!
We provide protective gear for every guest — ponchos, goggles, and gloves — so you can suit up to whatever comfort level you like.(Only goggles are required) Once everyone is ready, it’s time to step into the splatter tent and unleash your creativity! Each guest will create their very own canvas to take home as a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Step 6: End of party
When your party ends, we return to handle all cleanup inside the tent and take care of the entire takedown process. We pack up the paint, supplies, and tents—leaving your space exactly the way we found it. You get all the fun with none of the mess.
